Today is a special day. Three years ago, something I will remember forever ended. And nine months ago, something wonderful began. It’s hard, sometimes, thinking back to the bittersweet memories so long ago, knowing we are all not the people we were, and nothing will ever be the same.

On the 6^th, I wrote a long post about May 6-9, but for some reason, I never posted it. It was all about how much things have changed and where people have gone, and reliving some memories. Memories I will always cherish, but will stay just that, a memory, and nothing more.

But I realized, with each door that closes, another opens.

I used to think this way...

“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”

But I forgot that Fitzgerald also said,

“Tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther…”

with hope.

this waller essay which ive barely started on has made me think a lot..and im still thinking bout all that ive done throughout this journey of life and how much I have changed..my whole perspective on things..

all those memories of school flooding back and ill be gone in less than two years..im really grateful for the life that I have had..all the struggles, all the joys.. friendships unforgettable..
